FOUND DOG (reunited with owner #25) - "Small, terrier mix (?), female dog found around 4:45 pm on Greenbelt at Mesa Springs Ct. in Westcreek Village on Feb 25th. Tan, black, white coloring. Collar w/no tags. Describe collar so we know she's getting back to her proper owner!! ... near the Greenbelt in the neighborhood a neighbor on another street said there was a girl looking for dog w/this description.
SPOTTED ANIMAL - "Sunday night 2/24 @ 8pm a medium size German Shepherd mix was trotting down Mesa Gardens in Copperfield's Southdown Village. He was heading towards River Garden. He looked to have a collar."
LOST CAT - (reunited with owners
#24) - Purebred Silver Persian. "I lost Jubilee this morning she slipped out of the door ... she is white with green eyes, shaved with a cute lions cut" in the Westcreek part of Copperfield on Granite Ridge.['I found Jubilee! She just came back home, thanks for everyones help!']
FOUND DOGS - (reunited with owners #23) - "One is a long haired dachshund, female black with a little bit of brown, red heart collar" the other dog has no tags, was apparently pregnant recently and "is a smallish mixed breed, female ... both very friendly and seem to be from the same home." Small boundary area between River Garden and Club Lake Dr, and Lakeview Haven Drive and Ridge Park.

LOST DOG - (reunited with owner #22) - in Southcreek. 'We lost our dog, Peanut, Monday, Feb. 18th between 7 and 9 pm. Peanut is a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, black with tan markings, about 10lbs, about 3 years old, with a long tail and long ears.'

LOST CAT - (reunited with owner #21) - "Grey (neutered) Male, age 4, named 'Shadow' disappeared from residence on Preston Park, Easton Commons, on 2/18/08."
DOG FOUND - "Feb. 7 around 3am my fiancee and I almost ran over this dog at West Rd. & Crystal Lake. I got out and put her in the truck and kept her over night.
The next morning we looked for lost signs and instead came across found signs describing her. We could not get thru to the number on the sign. We took her to a vet, Longenbaugh vet clinic, to see if anyone would look for her but no one came out so we took her in."

ANIMAL RIGHTS - Congratulations to NASCAR driver Ryan Newman on winning today's Daytona 500. He and his wife Krissie operate the
Ryan Newman Foundation for focusing on ensuring and providing adequate care for unwanted cats and dogs in animal shelters and dog pounds.
The Newmans have also funded the construction of the Humane Society shelter in their home county back in North Carolina.
FOUND DOG - Rescued this MALE YELLOW LAB on Hwy 6 N at Forest Trails. This dog had on two collars. One appeared to be a shock collar of some sort.

DESIGNER PETS - For the past ten weekends Millicent Gerdes, a Friends of BARC volunteer, has been able to adopt out 315 homeless animals as Houston area pets using the old GAP storefront in a high end retail sales location on Westheimer near the Galleria.
She and her crew of animal supporters set up shop in the middle of December in the Highland Village Shopping Center next to places like Victorias Secret and Williams Sonoma to place dogs and cats in adoptive homes - and in the process recruited fifty active volunteers to help more stray animals get adopted.

She got out from backyard and was not wearing her collar. Her home is in Lone Oak Subdivision/Barker Cypress and Longenbough intersections. We miss her and want her home.

FOUND CAT - REUNITED WITH OWNER - black & white spotted, black nose, kind of small, has been neutered or is a female. No tags, very sweet and loving. Found on Honey Creek Lane in South Creek.
FOUND DOG - DOG HAS BEEN ADOPTED - This boxer with blue collar but no tags. Was found in Chimney Hill at FM 529 and Eldridge, does not have a microchip. (February update - person finding the pet has placed the animal)
LOST DOG - "on Tuesday night, January 22. Little female terrier mix, six months old, escaped from our yard near Forest Heights and Hudson Oaks. She is brown, white and black mixed and is very hyper, friendly and curious. She just got a bath and didn't have her collar or sweater on as she usually does. She loves to jump. FOUND DOG - REUNITED WITH OWNER - Male Fawn Boxer or Boxer mix Dog. "This dog was sitting in my driveway Saturday evening, January 5th at 6:30 p.m. We live in the Highfield Drive culdesac which is located off Meadow Village and Pebble Lake in the Northmead Village subdivision." FOUND DOGS - REUNITED WITH OWNER - 2 small dogs found a few days before Christmas. Would like a description to avoid fraud. They were roaming yards of Yorktown. One appears to be mixed and the other appears to be purebred.
